I would love to own the whole BPAL collection. Have you ever ordered from them before? SO glad someone else has heard of them - my friends think I'm a loon for being so into perfumes, especially those that are, according to them, 'obscure and smell gross'. I think they're just uneducated ... hehe.

Wow I can't believe anybody could say that BPALs smell better tham most of the really expensive stuff I'd take them over Chanel any day
I have a huge collection of Imps I've got from various people but I haven't bought directly yet mainly because I can't make up my mind:rabbit:

Totally agree! I can't make up my mind either - so many choices. I'm thinking of Mata Hari, Harlot, Snake Oil and Follow Me Boy at the moment, although this changes as I read through the website. Any recommendations?

Hi girls, I just went and checked out the Black Phoenix Alchemy Lab site. I would just like to say that I found the entire experience freaky to say the least. Funeral oils???? No thanks think I will just stick to my designer fragrances. No offence to you girls who love their products I just found the website a bit scary so their products will terrify me!!:ashamed:

*giggle* i must admit i find the funeral oils a tad spooky too - dunno about embalming fluid. I have a soft spot for the esoteric vibe BPAL has going on....definately sticking to the non funeral ones ;) they do smell good....really.

Far out you guys I was getting really freaked out about the Black Phoenix thingy. I thought you people were into funeral oils etc and I started thinking maybe some forum users were devil worshippers:flames: :worship: . What I can't get my head around is this Funeral oils thingy, wouldn't you have to be DEAD to use them? or are they like perfumes to wear to a funeral? lol How the heck does someone come up with funeral oils. This takes me back to my uni days doing human disection using Formaldehyde (preservative)!
Had bad dreams about these funeral oils last night. Find it all a bit spooky:fish:

*major giggles* I can see how you thought we could be crazies - I was taken aback the first I checked out the sight...very gothic. Don't know when it would be approriate to wear a funeral oil - what to say if somone asked what frgrance you were wearing? Also reminds me of disection during biology. The ones to try are the Love Potions and Bewitching Brews. I'm a sucker for the names - the ***** of Babylon, Harlot...my god, what does that say about me?!

I hope the dreams weren't too bad...*feels a bit sheepish*

Don't take it too seriously it's all part of the fun.I love the names particularly the Voodoo Oils as I am a big horror film fan:sunnies:
You can wear any scent any time regardless of the names

I have zillions of them.. but I don't wear them. I do think they are very interesting though and I enjoy sampleing them. Some of them are pretty unique!

The reason I don't wear them is I don't seem to be a perfume oil person.. I like SPRAYING scent, lol. They are very fun for exploration though and you can often get some imps on ebay if you want to try them out without doing an overseas order.
