I have used the tigi dumb blonde reconstructor and really liked it.... So today I bought the Tigi treat me nice treatment/mask to try.... I was doing some searches on the net and someone had reviewed it and said it strips your colour.
Has anyone here with coloured hair used it???? Is this true? or just a complaint from a disgruntled consumer.... I was going to try it tonight, but now I am apprehensive.... No point asking the hd's I bought it from as they said its wonderful....
So please, anyone used it and know??

Hi Blondie - yes, I've used it - if you mean the peppermint one:

I quite liked it; I have coloured hair and it was fine, didn't strip the colour. Great for a pick-me-up with that minty scent, and left hair shiny. Not the Holy Grail of hair treatments (would have to beat Terax Crema and Alchemy Macadamia & Wheat), but pretty good.

Thanks Rb.. I am about to use it shortly... I feel better about it now after your post..
I thought she might have been a one off, who stuffed her hair and blamed it on the product... Surely, they would not be recommending it on colored hair if that is what it does???
I'll let you know how it goes nattieb...
thanks girls.. :hugs:

Yeah, I wouldn't worry hon. I tend to take 'net reviews with a grain of salt, unless there are a ton of negative ones.
The minty smell is pretty strong but I didn't mind it. Let me know how you go anyways.

I liked the peppermint smell.. :chuckle: thats about it for me.....
does nothing special for my hair. . funny how everyones hair reacts differently to products.. I probably wont buy it again... Dont hate it, but dont love it either...
thanks again RB and Nattieb...:hugs:
edited: Come to think of it, my hair feels quite yuk today... BUT i also used sleek sexy hair leave in treatment..... So I dont know which one it is thats made it feel like that.... I should have realised NOT to use two new products in one go.. grrr.
