Has anybody tried the sheer lip liners? They look really nice, and have very 'nude' or natural colours if you like. I bought myself my first lipliner today, really close to the shade of my natural lips from the body shop, but i would still like a more paler one for that 'nude lip' look....

Hi Serena - I'm using the Sally Hansen clear lipliner and it's wonderful. No longer do I need different shades of lip pencils to match my lippie. I just use this. You can buy them at Priceline and their about $14.95. I haven't had dry lips since using it either (and that's saying something considering it's Winter). It's also good for filling in those fine lines around the mouth as well, and my lippie doesn't bleed like it used to. Hope this helps.

The LM sheer lipliners are really lovely. They have quite a creamy texture, and are a little bit shiny compared to regular lipliners which are usually matte.

Thnx Blizilizzy :) I have heard about clear lipliners and want one of these too! Will check out the sally hanson one then. I was just thinking of trying a nude colour one to wash out some of the colour from my lips, I dont want to look like a ghost but not looking for pink lips either if that makes sense. Any colour suggestions Kate?

Thankyou for your suggestion kate! :clapping: I tried the body shop lip liner today and the shade is clover. Its nice a soft making it very easy to blend so you dont end up with an ugly line around your lips. I put it on, shaded my lips with it and then put gloss on top. Even though its such a natural colour, it defines my lips so well and makes them look so plump! I have a wedding on saturday and this will be perfect! I cant wait to buy more liners :typing::penguin:

Clinique have some nice sheer lip liners. However my very favourite lip liner is the Duwop invisible liner available through Mecca Cosmetica. It is a clear waxy type liner and it is the bomb in my opinion. Never have to worry about that dreaded visible lip line again!!

I absolutely despise that line around lips - it's nearly impossible to get it right IMO. Might have to get me a sheer liner. Age is starting to show................
