From Lady Allison's post on the romance/love corner of your bedroom, I thought I'd see if anyone else has any tips to welcome the good energy into your life?
My romance/love corner has my dresser in it, with my tv on top - but I have two matching candles there too to represent a 'couple' which I read somewhere.
I also read I need to de-clutter - not keep things tidy as such but if I have pics/momentos of ex boyfriends to get rid of them etc.
But what else can I do? Tips....suggestions, what's worked for you what hasn't?
:typing:
I am a complete Feng-Shui dunce :dunce: Where is the romance/love corner?

Hey nattie,
you are doing good there for sure. Keeping things in pairs is great, red and pink colours are meant to be great. No clutter of course in any area is the way to go. Dried flowers are a no-no- old energy. I just made a friend dispose of some in her house!
Fresh flowers or a plant is a good idea- things growing and in bloom is nice and symbolic.

Oh hi Vee,
I explained the romance corner in the 'ex-strumpet' blog but to be brief- stand at your bedroom door and turn your head to the right and look at the far corner (the one diagonally to where you are standing) and that is your romance corner.

oh I forgot I have bagua mirrors around the hours in important places. Only a couple of bucks from a cheapo variety asian store. You know the ones I mean- usually have a red tassle on the bottom of it. Keeps enegy up in that area.

OK well when I stand at my bedroom door, the right hand far corner is directly opposite me, that's just because of where my door is positioned... is that right?

yes that's right. um other areas. well do a search online for fung shui and you will get info about the bagua chart which maps out your home into sections such as career, family, social life and so so. you can boost the energy in these areas too.
There are some good tips online but maybe I need to invest in a book on the topic. I think a lot of it is common sense but there are some little tricks that you may not consider so it's fun to have a research.

That corner of mine has an old school desk loaded with candles and a lava lamp. And the husband's stuff, cause that's 'his' side of the bed.
