There was a funny article in Sunday's Age about "fashion speak" - just had to post my favourites!
Muffin top - the fold of fat around the midriff that spills over the top of low-rise jeans
Hope Couture - the clothes you keep in the back of your wardrobe in the hope that you will fit into them again
Tanorexic - a person who thinks they can never be tanned enough
Floordrobe - where you put your clothes when you can't be bothered hanging them up
Cellulights - unflattering changeroom lighting
Bleavage - bum cleavage
Cankles - calves+ankles - used to describe really fat ankles
Guyliner - eyeliner on men
Anybody have any more good ones?

Along the lines of cankles:
Thuttocks - where your butt becomes your thighs, no delineation. Just - well, thuttocks.
And
A Monet - from far away he/she is gorgeous, but up close they're just a big old mess (stole this one from Clueless!)

Got another one; and I'd just like to say that I overhead an ex-boyfriend say this (to my disgust), so I take no responsibility! But I will just say: men, bah.
BOGHOP - body of goddess, head of pig.

Hahahaha oh my God, that is too good. Similar to "Prawn" (the body is good but discard the head), and "Paper Bag Job" (don't make me explain).

Not sure where I should be posting this but the thread "fashion speak" caught my eye. I was almost going to flick this from the inbox when I read about Zara coming to Australia!

I love the circular seating and runway. Also love how the models leave and enter from the Chanel jacket. Very clever!

I think Chanel wanted to out-do their last show. Check out these pics from their recent Winter Show with the carousel. There is a you tube link too. Check out the closer shot for the handbag and the take on the Chanel Camelia. Amazing!

i've heard of those two before but none of the other ones - they're quite clever aren't they? apparently there's a whole website of those type of words, not necessarily ones to do with fashion but just everything! dont' know what it is though, i'll try to find it another day ... but those ones are quite clever. :D

From the FiFi report this week....
"Topshop has snapped up Australian designer Alice McCall for its latest designer collaboration. The range is a delicious mix of playful prints and punches of acid bright colour on backless dresses, high-waisted skirts and crocheted camisoles. Alice McCall for TopShop hits the shelves on May 12, with prices from £35"
