Does anyone know where I can get some nice timber bedroom furniture in Sydney? Fiance and I have tried all the conventional places but everything is so boring!

We would ideally love a timber 4 post bed but havent been able to find any!

I don't know if you've considered going to a furniture maker and getting a bed made exclusively for you. If you can get some wood or reclaimed wood and have one especially designed and made for you. Otherwise checkout antique stores you might find some rare gems ... you could use the base and then just purchase a new matress.

Yeah i think we will have to look at some antique stores. Dont know about getting something made - we kinda need something in the next few weeks :redcheeks:

Hubby and I had our King size bed made - took a while, cause we had to wait til the mattress showed up, so the furniture maker coule measure it, to make sure it was all the right size.

Well worth the wait though..................
