I've put most things into my hair - mashed avocado (messy), olive oil, coconut oil, mashed banana, camomile tea, vinegar...

Beer, honey, eggs and essential oil mixes (usually with jojoba or macadamia as the base oil).

I stick to shamp & conditioner nowadays.

Umm...no...can't really say they did. Better off putting through a commercial treatment and eating the avocados, olive oil and bananas!

Olive oil, beer, eggs and honey have all been on my locks. Not all at once.

I still use olive oil if my hair is havig an uber dry phase. I stink, but my hair is lovely and soft after i wash it out.

Remember the blonding sprays - Sun In was one I think. I remember some interesting results from those - on others, I wasn't allowed to have them :shakehead:

Oh Emmy I used to do this!! it was even more drying than that darned sun-in I used to use. Spray on a bottle of bleach, and then blow dry it on high heat!! :chuckle:
