Anyone else love the scents from the Body Shop?

Neroli Jasmine, White Musk and Vanilla are my faves...

Haven't tried their perfume oils before though...

I have two of their perfume oils. I have coconut and cinnamon. They are both really lovely and last ages on the skin.

White Musk is beautiful. No matter how often I smell it, and how many people I smell it on, I still love it. Don't wear it often though, I think too many people have certain associations with it already, and I want to create my own scent associations :)

I love the Rose one! Cassis Rose i think its called. Not sure if they make it as a perufme oil but the spray and shower gel are just devine!! :glee:

I would love to get back to TBS for a sniffathon. A me controlled one that is, which means Launceston. I get thumping scent headaches every time i go to the Hobart one, but they have a better range - or at least they used to.

That's me! Reminds me of the bad old days, I can't wear it unfortunately..but does smell divine on others (perhaps with happier memories)!

I like the cinnamon and neroli & jasmine. I actually prefer the oils, seem to work better on my skin.

I like Amorito and Cassis Rose. Otherwise I have always regretted buying them. This is the perfumes btw, I haven't bought any oils as I really am not much of an oil person. They smell great in the shop though.

I love the vanilla one, I bought the Neroli Jasmin but it does not last on me at all :shakehead: I really like it but after what seems like a few mins its gone! I bought it in the oil and its a bigger bottle than the normal oils!
Does anyone know if they changed the Japanes Musk formula? It just does not smell the same as it did before!

I love TBS now discontinued Spirit of Moonflower and also White Musk!! I have the EDT sprays and the perfume oils in both.

I absolutely love TBS white musk perfume, body spray and perfume oil!!! This is my staple fragrance, i never vary this one, i always have a bottle on my cupboard. The white musk sumptuous shower gel is amazing too, the fragrance lasts forever.

I am gutted that I spent over $30 on something that I can't smell on me after a few minutes! :shakehead:

Have you checked with your friends if they can smell it on you???? because i know i can rarely smell my perfume but i have people coming up to me and saying that i smell really good and what perfume am i wearing???

Yeah, your nose gets used to the scent.

I know this sounds stupid but I don't have any friends that I can thrust my wrist at to find out if i smell nice :redcheeks: My hubby has no sense of smell so I could smell like a garbage tip and he would not notice :chuckle: I am out of work and don't really know anybody where I live, I have only lived in Aus for just under 2 years and as I have not been working, I have not met many people :shakehead:

Yeah I totally agree with all that... someone once bought me White Musk for Christmas and been in love with it since, I love the whole range too PP!!

Oh I know where you are coming from G, my hubby despises ALL perfumes, and tells me thay all stink - with the notable exception of a couple of vanillas, and my Rosa Magnifica.

Yep, it was huge! we only brought 5 tea chest sized boxes with us and sold everything else!
We love it here on the Central Coast NSW we are 100yds from a lovely beach, a short walk to great coffee shops etc, OK today it is chucking it down with rain so I can't go out for a walk and a coffee today but usually its lovely!
I wish we had done it years ago!!

Oz I saw a lot of it overseas and I enquired on Friday when it Hobart if they were going to release them in Australia and they said Aqua Lily was in the warehouse and they were waiting to be told they could seel it. They rang head office to enquire about the Apple Blossom and Japanese Cherry Blossom and they were told that isn't far away from being released here either.

Hey PCC, they sound lovely, the Aqua Lily grabs my attension, maybe an Oceanus with lily floral notes in it?
The blossom ones sound great too. I was wondering if thet were going to bring new scents out when they discontinued Moonflower last year.... They will never discontinue White Musk as it's their most popular scent.

It's very different in my opinion. It is new and only been in a couple of weeks.

Yes the shower gel is beautiful and very moisturising!! I sometimes use it to layer with Falling in Love, it creates a nice musky base!

Part of me wants to go back to White Musk, it smells so clean and beautiful but sooo many people wear it and it's very recognisable, that's all that's stopping me!

In high school I used to wear TBS Activist perfume oil, and I loved it! It is discontinued now -- not even sure what the notes/ingredients were. My mum loves vanilla so I bought her the Vanilla perfume oil -- it is yummy and not too sweet. I also bought her the Vanilla Spice body butter for Christmas (from the limited edition Christmas range) -- what a lucky mum she is! The body butters smell devine enough without needing to add more fragrance.

The perfume oils last ages in my experience, and you only need a little dab!

Yeah I meant to get the Vanilla Spice body butter and save it for winter! Never did though.

Sniffed the White Musk Blush today. Smells nothing at all like the original WM, and is kind of generic. I'm thinking it reminds me of Lancome Miracle but that's probably only because I was reading about Miracle in another thread! :chuckle:

I popped in the Body Shop today and they had Aqua Lily for sale, I tried it and while its not my type its very nice, very light, the sort of thing you could wear at the beac or at a summer barbie.
I hope that made sense!
I asked about the Japanese cherry blossom and the lady there had no clue about it, she asked where I heard about it and I told her about Adore, she is going to check it out later!

I havent smelt the white musk yet!
I was put off by musk after buying an avon one and it smelt weird!
