is in nearly ALL the mags this week. So lets dissect the clothes. I'll start :whipcrack:
I think James was a very brave boy to wear budgie smugglers. 'nuff said there methinks. He wears a suit well.
I thought what Eerica wore to the beach party (Roberto Cavalli) was just beautiful, such a pretty, floaty, feminine dress.
:hearts: what she wore to the civil ceremony, elegant and simple.
Her big white wedding dress - the jury is still out. I think this will maybe grow on me At this point, it's 'No.' Initially, it was "Hell no!' so we are making progress.
I didn't like what Sarah Murdoch wore, the dress needed boobs, and the stole looked like a dust bunny. It was feathers, so I hate to imagine how many birds shed for that! The barefoot, hair down, casual 'arriving; shot was waaay nicer, she looked lovely. :D Liked what Wendi Murdoch was wearing in one shot to, smart casual, very classy.

Hmmm $250,000 for her wedding dress? I'm not sure that if I could afford that I would pay it. I'd rather buy a nice diamond at least you could wear it more than once.
I suppose when money is no object you just wouldn't care but imagine how many starving, homeless or sick people you could help with that amount of money.

I think in general she is nice looking, but is it just me or does she look like she has a fake nose???

I didn't really get into this wedding much but I did notice her dress on the cover of a magazine. The white one with all the layers? Not a fan. A bit too 80's for my taste.

Yeah, I'm not a big fan of the dress. So pouffy, she looked like a big wedding cake! Bouquet a bit blah too.

Lol, ozcat! I think is is an unusual beauty - but still attractive. Gorgeous eyes.
I thought the dress was a bit boring, but I guess up close the details may have been more noticeable.

I also hated the bouquet she had at the civil ceremony. The stem part was wrapped in a Chanel-esque quilted fabric and its diameter was huge, I'm surprised she could hold it! It looked dumb. Loved her civil ceremony outfit though.

A lady who comes into work described them as looking like a pompom. She (and I) was much more impressed with the dress and flowers from Rod Stewart's wedding with Penny Lancaster - she had a beautiful dress!

I quite liked the dress. I wouldn't wear it myself but I thought it was pretty, it reminded me of a giant clamshell.

Yeah I didn't hate the dress either Kate, I thought it was quite a pretty shape and I've seen a lot worse.

Does anyone else think Erica Packer (nee Baxter) looks alarmingly like Danni Minogue?

I really don't want to be mean but do you think sh is only with him for the money?
It always amazes me how the worlds richest men are often less than fortunate in the looks department yet they hook up with the most extrordinary looking women. Is it just the money that makes them attractive? Would these women still go for them if they were penniless?
Donald Trump ring any bells?

Erica's dress was a bit toilet-doll like i think. I think it looks better from afar.
Not saying anything about the groom - still in shock from the speedos.

Perhaps they have really sweet souls and offer intelligent conservation?

I actually remember reading an article about this not too long ago. It basically stated that rich men are attractive not BECAUSE of the money per se, but because of the sense of confidence and power that it gives them. It used Donald Trump as an example, and it referred to how his wife Melania loves his confidence and air of control. It also pointed out that what makes you attracted to someone in the first place is not what keeps you in love with them - for example Trump may have been initially attracted to Melania for her looks but that is not all that keeps him married to her.
I myself have a tad of experience in this area. A few years ago I briefly dated a man who was MUCH older than I was and who was quite wealthy (well, wealthy to a 20-year-old, lol....he owned a few businesses). If you saw a picture of him without knowing anything about him, you would not characterise him as attractive. But I was SO madly sexually attracted to him, it was unbelievable. I had more sexual attraction and chemistry with him than with almost anyone else I had dated. I put it down to his confidence, the fact that he knew what he wanted and got it, and that he always seemed to be in control of things. It's a VERY powerful elixir! I actually just felt my pulse race a little thinking about him!

I agree, Miss Kat - being sexually attracted to someone has little to do with physical looks alone. Sometimes you are madly attracted to someone and it is difficult to describe but there is just a weird, hormonal, chemical (call it what you like) connection. Like magnets.

Am I the only one that finds thse two completely uninteresting? I honestly deliberately did not buy New Idea or Woman's Day today, simply because these two were plastered all over the cover, I bought Who and OK instead. Don't get me wrong, I love my trash, and I love my goss, I just find these two to be a bit .
